The DePaul Carriage Factory Apartment Treatment Program is now hiring a full-time Medication Coordinator!

- Pay range for this position is $21-$21.30/hour
- Provide leadership for medication-related systems, adherence to DePaul Policy, Training and Standards.
- Process all incoming client medications, checking labels for accuracy, completing proper documentation and storing medications as per DePaul’s standards and NYS Office of Mental health regulations.
- Process incoming prescriptions, medications or treatment orders and update client charts as well as the Medication Administration Record (MAR) when new medications or change orders are prescribed.
- Inventory all medication (pill, liquid, inhaler, and creams) and required supplies (BGL test strips, alcohol swabs) weekly to identify medications that need to be ordered.
- Ensure prescriptions are refilled as needed and request standing order prescriptions as required.
- Track and oversee the medication ordering, supply and ensure medications are on site without interruptions of medication regimen.
- Act as liaison with resident, doctors, pharmacies, providers and residential staff to ensure timely and accurate ordering of medications and appointment scheduling as needed.
- Oversee the supervision of all residents’ medications in accordance with physician’s orders, DePaul’s Policy and NYS Office of Mental Health regulations.
- Monitor medication-related documentation weekly for accuracy and completeness, addressing areas of need with Site Supervisor.
- Report significant issues regarding client medications to the Residential Supervisor (e.g., missed doses of medications, resident refusals, adverse reactions).
- Oversee the monitoring and documentation of all residents involved in the self-medication process.
- Respect and maintain resident confidentiality and demonstrate a caring, positive attitude toward all residents, family members, staff, guests and service providers.
- Perform any other duties necessary for the effective operations of the program, and the medication room in particular.
High School Diploma required. Advanced educational degree preferred. One year experience working with people with mental illness preferred. Demonstrated prior medication management experience required. Excellent organizational and communication skills with experience interfacing with medical personnel and adherence to protocols.
Additional Qualifications- Clean NYS driving record as outlined in DePaul’s personnel policy.
- Must be at least Eighteen (18) years of age.
This full-time position is Tuesday‑Saturday with the following schedule:
- Sunday Off
- Monday Off
- Tuesday 10 am–6:30 pm
- Wednesday 12 pm–8:30 pm
- Thursday 10 am–6:30 pm
- Friday 10 am–6:30 pm
- Saturday 12 pm–8:30 pm
