WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in Rochester, NY.

Job Function:

• Night Shift.
• 3x12.
• Document all patient care accurately, completely, and promptly in the facility EMR
• Prepare the operating room for procedures and assist with room turnover
• Assist with patient positioning and ensure comfort and safety throughout the procedure
• Handle and label specimens according to policy
• Maintain strict adherence to aseptic technique and infection‑control standards
• Identify and initiate corrective actions when necessary
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR staff to ensure efficient workflow

Jobs Requirements:

• Active NY RN License.

• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience. Level 1 trauma OR experience highly preferred.

• BLS – American Heart Association only.

• ACLS – Preferred.
