Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented LPN to join our Medical Surgical unit. The successful candidate will provide quality nursing care to patients recovering from surgery or managing medical conditions, under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. The LVN/LPN will monitor patient status, administer medications, and assist with daily care activities to promote recovery and comfort.

• Provide direct patient care including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with personal hygiene.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to the RN or physician promptly.
• Assist with wound care, catheter care, and other clinical procedures as assigned.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely in compliance with hospital policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to implement and update care plans.
• Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and post-discharge instructions.
• Maintain a safe and clean patient care environment following infection control standards.
• Assist with patient mobility, positioning, and transfers as needed.

• V alid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice.
• Completion of an accredited vocational/practical nursing program.
• Prior experience in a medical-surgical or acute care setting preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong clinical and communication skills.
• Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment.
