Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical/Telemetry RN – New York

Start Date: March 3, 2026
Location: Rochester, New York
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 3x12 day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, every other weekend required

Highlights:

• 39-bed specialized cardiac unit caring for post-PCI, pacemaker, AICD, post-MI patients and cardiac pharmacological interventions
• Patient ratio 1:5 to 1:7 on a well-supported tertiary care hospital with 528 beds
• EPIC charting system with 12 hours of orientation provided
• Interdisciplinary team support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• 13-week assignment with opportunity for up to two pre-approved time-off periods
• Float to medical-surgical units as needed

Requirements:

• Active New York RN license in hand prior to submission – no exceptions
• Minimum 2 years of recent MS/Telemetry nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Previous charge nurse experience required
• EPIC charting system experience required
• BLS certification current and in good standing
• Experience with patient ratios up to 1:6
• Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV therapy, phlebotomy, and respiratory support
• Must reside more than 75 miles from facility location
• Maximum 10 days of requested time off during contract period
