Travel Nursing Opportunity – RN Endoscopy / GI – URMC Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, NY

Olaro is seeking experienced Endoscopy / GI Nurses to join the procedural team at URMC Strong Memorial Hospital
. This assignment is ideal for RNs with advanced endoscopy skills who enjoy a high-acuity, procedure‑oriented environment.

Position Details:

• Start Date: 3/16/2026
• Location: Rochester, NY
• Unit: Endoscopy / GI Lab, Level 3 RN
• Schedule: M-F 8hr shifts (5 shifts/week) or 4x10hr shifts; on‑call required for overnights and weekends
• Contract Length: 12.71 Weeks

Key Responsibilities:

• Sedate and monitor patients during endoscopy procedures
• Administer IV medications and conscious sedation, recover patients post-procedure
• Observe vital signs and perform telemetry monitoring, including rhythm identification
• Assist physicians throughout procedures and prepare instruments, equipment, and supplies
• Complete all documentation, including patient notes and discharge instructions
• Maintain a sterile environment and clean/sterilize equipment

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Active NY RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA only)
• Minimum of 2 years of endoscopy procedure experience
• Expertise in IV insertion, conscious sedation, and post‑anesthesia recovery
• Telemetry monitoring and patient intake experience for GI procedures required
