Cardiac OR Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour shift from 7 AM to 7 PM.

Job Description

The Adult Cardiac OR focuses on providing care for a diverse patient population undergoing various cardiac procedures, including CABGs, TAVIs, and heart transplants. The multidisciplinary team works collaboratively to ensure quality care for patients of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care in the Cardiac OR setting.
• Perform scrubbing and circulating duties during surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN License in New York.
• Two years of nursing experience, specifically in an operating room.
• Preferred experience in a Level 1 trauma operating room.
• Must be certified in BLS and ACLS through the American Heart Association.
