Schedule

This position offers a full‑time schedule, specifically working nights in a 12‑hour format from 7 PM to 7 AM, with rotating shifts that may include 7 AM to 7 PM. The nurse will work a total of 36 hours per week, with a requirement of either one weekend shift per week or two weekend shifts every other weekend. At least one holiday must be worked during the contract period.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Medical/Surgical / Colorectal & Bariatrics unit.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes accurately within the electronic health record (EPIC).
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients and families regarding care plans and health maintenance.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in acute medical‑surgical or telemetry nursing.
  • 2 years of U.S. work experience is required for non‑U.S. candidates.
  • Active New York RN License.
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Assignment Duration

This is a 16‑week contract position.

Pay Package

Based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week; tax‑free stipend to be determined.
