Shift: Rotating D/E/N (Days/Evenings/Nights), Weekends & Holidays as needed
Position Overview:Join a highly specialized neurological unit within a leading academic medical center and gain hands‑on experience caring for complex and acute neuro patients. This fast‑paced environment provides an excellent opportunity to expand your clinical knowledge while working alongside a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
As part of a Joint Commission‑accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center and a Level 4 Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, you’ll play a key role in delivering advanced neurological care using cutting‑edge technology, including continuous video EEG monitoring.
Patient Population Includes:- Stroke
- Epilepsy & seizure disorders
- Multiple Sclerosis
- Guillain-Barré Syndrome
- Other acute and complex neurological conditions
- Provide high-quality nursing care to neurological patients
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Support diagnostic and treatment processes, including EEG monitoring
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care
- Rotating shifts (Days/Evenings/Nights)
- Weekends, holidays, on‑call, and callback as required
- 48 hours straight time available
- Active NY State RN License
- Minimum 2 years RN experience
- Telemetry experience required
- BLS certification required
- NIHSS certification preferred
- Work in a leading neurological specialty unit
