Registered Nurse - Mayo Family Clinic Baldwin - RN at Mayo Clinic Rochester, NY

Registered Nurse (RN) – Mayo Family Clinic, Baldwin.

Provide direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care. Support professional nursing practice across settings. Coordinate with providers, assist with in‑clinic procedures, and ensure timely responses to patient needs. Act as preceptor, lead quality improvement efforts, and participate in committees or projects. Delegate patient care, adhere to Minnesota State licensing, and support recruitment as needed.

• Graduate of a baccalaureate nursing program accredited by ACEN, CCNE, or NLN CNEA; or one year of RN experience in an applicable care setting or one year of LPN experience at Mayo Clinic.
• All entry‑level associate degree RN’s must provide documented completion of a baccalaureate program within five years of RN start date.
• One year of RN experience in an applicable care setting or one year of LPN experience at Mayo Clinic preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Computer skills required; prior EMR experience preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, nights, holidays, weekends, and on‑call.
• Adaptability to unpredictable situations, leadership, effective communication, and critical thinking skills.

• Current RN license by applicable state requirements.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or American Red Cross. Positions not on‑campus may not require BLS competency.
• Additional state licensure and/or specialty certification/training as required by work area.

The starting hourly rate is $34.84 per hour. Compensation is tied to experience, education, and tenure, and includes a competitive tuition reimbursement program.

Part‑time (40 hours). Monday‑Friday daytime shifts with possible evening coverage. 8‑10 Saturdays per year (7am‑12pm). Float to other primary care sites as needed, including Rochester and Kasson, and cross‑cover non‑visit care.

Eligible for TN sponsorship; F‑1 students with OPT allowed to apply. Sponsorship requires state licensure and completion of Visa Screen or equivalent.
