About This Role

The Registered Nurse 2 position in Inpatient Cardiac Care at UR Medicine involves providing direct patient care under the direction of the Nurse Manager. This role is ideal for new graduate nurses looking to build their competency in a supportive, team‑oriented environment.

• Pay: $37.12 - $50.11
• Location: Rochester, NY
• Facility: Strong Memorial Hospital
• Schedule: Rotating shifts, including 8 and 12 hour shifts, holidays and weekends

• Provide direct patient care under the direction of the Nurse Manager.
• Contribute to unit activities and support the enhancement of the care delivery system.
• Support peers in the delivery of patient care services.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Exhibit strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills.
• Engage in pre and post‑operative cardiac care.

Education: New graduate nurse with less than one year of experience

Experience: Experience in a fast‑paced healthcare environment preferred
