Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Level
3)

New York, NY

Contract | 36–48 Hours per Week | Rotating Shifts (Days, Evenings, Nights) | Onsite | Weekends, Holidays, On-Call, and Callback Required

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume, fast-paced adult Emergency Department managing more than 100,000 visits annually
• Deliver nursing care to a diverse patient population within a Level I trauma center environment
• Assist with boarder patients as needed based on unit demands
• Float to areas within the unit and fulfill charge nurse responsibilities per unit needs
• Maintain compliance with all departmental protocols, safety standards, and documentation requirements

• Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Minimum of two (2) years of Emergency Department experience
• Previous travel nursing experience in an Emergency Department setting required
• Telemetry experience required
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association required
• NIHSS certification required

• Experience working in a Level I trauma center
• Demonstrated ability to manage high patient volumes in a fast-paced environment
