Job Description:

This is a fast-paced pre/post interventional radiology department in a level 1 Trauma center. We cater to inpatient and outpatient populations across the lifespan. Nurses work within a multidisciplinary team and are responsible for the pre-procedural preparation of patients and post procedural recovery and overnight observation care.

Experience with GI post procedural care is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for pre/post procedural and 23-hour care for IR patients.
• Care for patients boarding overnight pre or post procedure.

Requirements:

• 2 years' Registered IR Nursing experience
• Telemetry Experience Required
• New York RN license (ONLY)
• BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
• ACLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
