RN - Medical-Surgical/IMCU
Schedule
Shift: 3x12 - Nights
Weekend:
Every other weekend
Requirements
- NY RN license in hand
- BLS certification
- NIHSS certification
- 2 years RN experience minimum (may accept 1 year)
- EPIC experience required
Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor patients in an Intermediate Care setting, focusing on telemetry and pulmonary conditions.
- Participate in Rapid Response and Code teams as needed.
- Administer medications and titratable IV infusions, manage IV therapy, and perform phlebotomy.
- Provide respiratory support, including BiPAP and CPAP management.
- Conduct assessments and respond to changes in patient conditions promptly.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 24 hours
- Pre-approved time off: 1 day per contract
- Floating may be required to other units as necessary.
