As a Certified Nursing Assistant you will provide high‑quality, individualized patient care in collaboration with the nursing team. Your ability to take initiative while always assisting and maintaining patient care will be critical to the success of the entire team.
Responsibilities- Provide and/or assist residents with activities as outlined in individualized care plans.
- Transport residents to and from activities as needed.
- Offer leisure activities for residents.
- Perform evaluations and report findings.
- Offer emotional support to residents and families.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe resident environment.
- Support families and direct them to appropriate professional staff.
- Respond to resident requests promptly and relay reports to team members and leaders.
- Completion of an NYS‑approved Certified Nursing Assistant program.
- Minimum age requirement: 18.
- Registered Certified Nurse Aide in New York State.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Associates degree.
Associates degree preferred.
Licenses / Certifications- CNA – Certified Nursing Assistant – New York State Education Department (NYSED)
Medium work involving exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; requires frequent walking, standing, or squatting. Specific disease‑specific care programs may have additional physical requirements.
Pay Range$19.50 – $22.00 per hour.
