OR Nurse; RN

We are seeking a Registered Nurse with a solid background in perioperative services to deliver top-tier patient care for surgical patients. Your knowledge and precision in the operating room will play a vital role in supporting surgical teams and ensuring patient safety throughout all perioperative phases.

• Current RN license, valid in New York State
• Previous experience as an OR nurse; proficiency in circulating and/or scrubbing for surgical procedures
• BLS certification; ACLS certification preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical setting
• Familiarity with modern OR equipment and safety protocols

• Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments for procedures according to established protocols
• Assess, plan, and document patient care before, during, and after surgical interventions
• Act as patient advocate, ensuring comfort and safety at every step of the perioperative process
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and healthcare teams to facilitate seamless patient care
• Maintain accurate records and ensure strict adherence to infection control standards
• Respond promptly and effectively to changes in patient condition or emergency situations
