• Conduct intake assessments through interviews with patients and relatives to gather case history.
• Plan and provide nursing care for patients, including developing and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with the care team.
• Perform nursing diagnoses related to medical and emotional status and recommend treatment options.
• Administer psychotropic medications and other prescribed treatments; monitor responses and adverse effects.
• Consult with psychiatrists and behavioral health staff to design appropriate, patient‑centered treatment plans.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff and patients; monitor vital signs and assess pain; document all findings and responses in the medical record.

• Current New York RN license (active, NY license only)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Telemetry experience/competency required
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience
• Ability to work in an inpatient behavioral health/psychiatric setting and to manage care for adolescent patients
