About This Role

The Pediatric Specialty Nurse in Peds Endocrinology at Strong Memorial Hospital provides patient and family-centered care in a fast-paced outpatient division. This role is ideal for an autonomous, team-oriented nurse with pediatric experience who can collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

• Pay: $37.12 - $50.11/hour
• Location: Rochester, NY
• Facility: Strong Memorial Hospital
• Schedule: Part-time, Day shift

• Provide competent direct patient care based on established standards.
• Contribute to unit activities and support enhancement of the care delivery system.
• Support peers in the delivery of patient care services.
• Assume expanded roles such as charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.
• Collaborate with APPs, MDs, and other team members to provide comprehensive care.
• Conduct telephone triage and care management.
• Provide phone-based patient education and family support.
• Educate patients and families in clinic regarding diabetes and equipment use.

Pediatric nursing experience required.

1-3 years of pediatric nursing experience preferred.

Current RN License in New York.
