Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Location: Edna Tina Wilson Living Center, Rochester, NY 14612

Schedule: Monday—Friday 3:00pm – 11:00pm and every other weekend and holiday. Full‑time, 40 hours per week.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will provide high‑quality, individualized patient care in partnership with the nursing team, taking initiative to support and maintain patient care excellence.

• Provide and assist residents with activities as per individualized care plans, including transportation to and from activities.
• Offer leisure activities, perform evaluations, and report findings.
• Provide emotional support to residents and families.
• Maintain a clean and safe resident environment.
• Support families, refer them to appropriate professional staff, and respond promptly to resident requests.
• Receive and give reports to team members and team leaders.

• Completion of a NYS‑approved Certified Nursing Assistant program.
• Minimum age of 18.
• Registered Certified Nurse Aide in the State of New York.

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Associate’s degree.

• CNA – Certified Nursing Assistant – New York State Education Department (NYSED).

Medium physical exertion: occasionally 20–50lb, frequently 10–25lb, or constantly up to 10lb. Requires frequent walking, standing, or squatting. Accommodation will be considered.

$19.50 – $22.00 per hour.
