The LPN, Proficient, Inpatient, under the direction of the Nurse Manager or designee and the co‑assigned Registered Nurse, is accountable for provision of direct care to assigned patients. The LPN, Proficient, Inpatient contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system, working as a team member and assisting other staff with implementing patient care.

Unit duties include:

• Providing state‑of‑the‑art heart care to patients requiring mechanical circulatory support devices, high‑risk cardiac surgery, left‑ventricular assist devices, and heart transplants.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including Advanced Practice Providers, Registered Nurses, and other LPNs, to promote critical thinking and patient autonomy.
• Participating in a unique orientation process that facilitates collaboration with both LPNs and RNs.

Schedule:

Full‑time, 40hours per week, regular and rotating shifts (8+12hour shifts), including weekends and holidays per unit policy. Compensation: $26.77 – $34.80 per hour, within the specified range.
