ResponsibilitiesThe Registered Nurse (RN) in the Radiology Pre/Post will use nursing assessment skills on patients ranging from infant to geriatric populations in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Tasks include caring for patients receiving diagnostic imaging scans and undergoing complex radiologic procedures, performing detailed nursing assessments, and monitoring patients post‑procedure. The RN must be flexible, able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment, and work with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, technologists, nurses, and others.
Qualifications- Graduate of a nursing program recognized by ACEN, CCNE, or NLN CNEA.
- One year of professional RN experience required.
- Associate degree RN with a start date after April 1, 2020 must provide evidence of baccalaureate degree completion within five years; prior to April 1, 2020 must provide evidence of completion at the time of hire.
- BSN preferred.
- Recent ICU/PCU/PACU or monitoring/sedation experience preferred (last 3‑5 years).
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working in a team environment.
- Computer skills required; experience with electronic medical record systems preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, nights, holidays, weekends, and on‑call.
- Demonstrated leadership, effective communication, and excellent critical thinking skills.
- Current RN license required by applicable state.
- BLS certification valid for 90 days post start date (acceptable: AHA/Heartcode® BLS, Military Training Network, Red Cross CPR/AED).
- ACLS/PALS preferred; ACLS will be required in the future.
- Additional specialty certification/training as required by the work area.
Pay range: $42.44 – $65.44 per hour. Full‑time, 8‑hour shifts with variation of start times from 06:30 to 10:30 am. Schedule includes 1 holiday every 4 years, 2 weekends per year, 8 closing shifts per year, and limited overtime as needed for patient care.
