  36 or 48 hr/wk, Monday–Friday days shifts
• On‑call responsibilities per unit need (until 11 pm only)
• No weekends, holidays per unit need

• Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 48 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

• Collaborates with the surgeon and the healthcare team in performing a safe operation with optimal outcomes for the patient.
• Practices perioperative nursing and must have acquired the necessary knowledge, skill & judgment specific to clinical practice in the operating room and in the RNFA role.
• Performs duties of OR staff RN when not assigned in RNFA role – NYS license as a Registered Professional Nurse.
• Completion of an accredited RN First Assistant course.
• Robotic surgery experience preferred.
• Proficient in perioperative nursing practice – preferred scrubbing and circulating experience.
• CNOR required; combined Circ/Scrub and RNFA role.

• RN License (NY License ONLY)
• Da Vinci Experience
  
  Required:
  
  Robotic Urology, Robotic GYN, Robotic Colorectal, Robotic Surgical Oncology (Whipple, gastrectomies, hernias, etc), Robotic Thoracic, Robotic general surgery (gallbladders, appendectomies)
• CNOR required
• Two (2) years OR experience in a level 1 trauma preferred

• BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
• ACLS preferred (American Heart Association ONLY)
• CNOR Certification
