Responsibilities- NP or PA (preferred)
- Full-time position available, primarily days; evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
- Work collaboratively with all members of the health care team to provide high-quality outpatient care to patients with sports-related conditions and osteoarthritis.
- Focus on osteoarthritis involving large joints including joint injections, strains, sprains, tendonitis, fractures and sports concussions.
- Provide some basic metabolic bone health work.
- Strong communication and clinical skills required; must be eligible for billing.
- Nurse Practitioner: Master’s degree as a Nurse Practitioner; active New York State Registered Nurse license in good standing; active New York State Nurse Practitioner licensure in good standing; current national certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Physician Assistant: Completion of an ARC-PA approved Physician Assistant program; active New York State Physician Assistant licensure in good standing; current national certification as a Physician Assistant by NCCPA.
- NPs and PAs must demonstrate clinical competence, superior verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal effectiveness and customer relationship skills, computer competence and an active desire to learn.
- Participate in the education of learners (students and new employees) by using clinical learning experiences, knowledge sharing and skill training.
