Job Description

Travel Nurse RN — Emergency Room, Rochester, NY. 13‑week contract with possibility to extend, scheduled 4x12 night shift (19:00‑07:00). Compensation: $2,876 per week ($50/hour).

• EPIC charting (EPIC experience required)
• IV therapy including blood product administration, central line care, phlebotomy, and IV vasopressors
• CPAP/BiPAP and ventilator management
• CVA (stroke), neuro‑trauma, spinal cord injury, TBI care
• Cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management
• Emergency care (adult/pediatric ED, gunshot wounds, orthopedic trauma)
• Isolation precautions; triage; pediatric spinal cord injury

• Shift hours: 4x12 nights (19:00‑07:00)
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Weekend coverage: every other weekend
• Holiday coverage: every other holiday as needed
• Floating within the skill set required

• Active New York single-state RN license (no compact)
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (include valid NIHSS)

• Locals accepted: RN within 75 miles not accepted; LPNs accepted locally
• Scrub color:
  Any combination of navy blue and white
• Special equipment:
  Bair hugger, rapid infuser, safe patient handling equipment
• Ratio: 1:5 (Adults, Geriatrics; all emergency-type diagnoses)
