Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical / Telemetry

Shift: Nights, 3x12 (19:00–07:00) Weekend requirement:
Every other weekend

Requirements:

• Certifications:
  
  BLS and NIHSS (valid NIHSS must be included with submittal)

  1 year required, charge experience required
• EMR: EPIC charting experience required
• Unit-specific skills:
  Cardiac monitoring, post-PCI and post-MI management, IV/vascular access, respiratory care

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a medical-surgical/telemetry setting.
• Monitor cardiac patients, interpreting dysrhythmias and managing telemetry monitoring.
• Assist with post-procedural care for patients who have undergone PCI and those with pacemakers or AICDs.
• Manage IV access, including peripheral IV care and familiarity with PICC lines.
• Provide respiratory support as needed, including the use of nasal cannulas and non-invasive airway management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care and act as a rapid response team member when necessary.

• RTO submission restriction:
  Cannot submit candidates with more than 10 days RTO
• Candidates within a 75-mile radius are not accepted.
