Overview
Management opportunity:
Assistant Director of Nursing Services (ADNS) at Hickory Creek Rochester. The ADNS assumes delegated responsibility and accountability for the provision of resident care according to professional standards of nursing practice. In coordination with the Director of Nursing Services, the ADNS develops, communicates, and maintains nursing policies and procedures that reflect current clinical practice, professional standards, and company and facility philosophy of care consistent with Federal and State laws and corporate policies and procedures.
- Assume delegated responsibility and accountability for resident care in accordance with professional standards of nursing practice.
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing Services to develop, communicate, and maintain nursing policies and procedures that reflect current clinical practice, professional standards, and company and facility philosophy of care in compliance with Federal and State laws and corporate policies.
- Leadership: inspire and motivate clinical staff and foster a positive work environment.
- Clinical Knowledge: solid foundation of nursing knowledge and skills with compliance to company and Federal and State standards.
- Staff Development: coach and mentor clinical staff.
- Communication: effectively communicate with staff, residents, and residents’ families.
- Supportive Presence: create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Indiana RN license or ability to obtain an Indiana license.
