LPN - Medical Surgical
This is a position for an LPN in a Medical Surgical setting. The work schedule is night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00. The contract duration is for 13 weeks. Every other weekend work is required. The charting system utilized is EPIC. Must submit requests for time off upon submission. The ability to float within skillset is required. The nurse to patient ratio is 1:5.
The unit provides complex care for medicine and orthopedic overflow patients. This role involves caring for patients with complex long-term needs. Candidates must possess an active nursing license in New York. BLS certification is also a requirement for this role. Previous acute care experience within the last two years is essential. Experience with various clinical skills and competencies is necessary for success in this position.
