The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. • Under the direction of leadership, is accountable for provision of competent direct patient care based on established standards. Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level. Supports peers in the delivery of patient care services and assumes an expanded role which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.
• Full‑time position, primarily days, 8‑hour shifts; no weekends or holidays.
• We are seeking a highly motivated registered nurse for the role of pulmonary procedure nurse in our Adult Ambulatory Pulmonary Procedure Suite, a nationally recognized academic pulmonary division that cares for both inpatients and outpatients needing specialized procedures.
• The interdisciplinary pulmonary team specializes in the care of patients undergoing moderate sedation and general anesthesia interventional bronchoscopies.
• The nurse’s role will include three primary functions: pre‑procedure work‑up, intra‑procedure management, and post‑procedure recovery and discharge.
• RN license and BSN required.
• Critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities are utilized each day with patient care.
• Competence in the delivery of nursing care modalities.
• Critical care experience preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience.
