RN – Psych ER

Schedule:

Weekend blocked, days/nights rotational position, holidays/on-call/callback/charge per unit needs

Assignment Details:
Contract length: 13 weeks Guaranteed hours: 48 hours/week

Requirements: NY License BLS Certification (AHA) Minimum 2 years experience Telemetry (preferred)

Roles & Responsibilities:
Conduct intake assessments through interviews with patients and relatives to gather case history. Plan and provide nursing care for patients, including making nursing diagnoses and recommending treatment options. Consult with psychiatrists and other behavioral health staff to design appropriate treatment plans for clients. Administer and monitor reactions to psychotropic drugs and other medications. Document all patient information on medical charts and follow physician's written orders.

Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure a safe and secure environment for staff and patients.
