SMH Level 2 RN 534 Ortho/Trauma
This unit specializes in orthopedic trauma, spinal surgery, and other elective orthopedic surgical diagnoses. Nurses are part of a department recognized for research and innovation, offering many opportunities for education and professional growth. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills are required, as well as the ability to work as a team player. Experience in a level 1 trauma facility is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Floating/weekends/holidays/on-call/callback/charge per unit needs
- Adhering to unit needs with a rotating shift schedule
Requirements:
- Must have orthopedic experience
- 2 years of experience
- RN license (NY only)
- Telemetry experience required
- BLS (AHA only)
- ACLS (AHA only)
