CompensationCompensation Range: $98,508.00 - $. Salaries will be set within this range based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
ResponsibilitiesNP/PA FT position, M-F primarily days. A wonderful opportunity exists for a highly motivated/independent nurse practitioner or physician assistant looking for a position in an outpatient wound healing center. The center maintains collaborative practice within Plastic Surgery and but works with many different services to meet patient needs. Responsibilities include triaging and treating complex acute and chronic wounds, communicating with referring providers and primary care providers, managing and overseeing Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatments, and completing Hyperbaric Oxygen Team Training within 12 months of hire.
As an autonomous provider, the APP will bill directly for services. The APP will participate in the education of learners (students and new employees), using clinical learning experiences, knowledge sharing and skill training.
- NP:
Master’s degree as a Nurse Practitioner, an active New York State Registered Nurse license in good standing, an active New York State Nurse Practitioner licensure in good standing and current national certification as a Nurse Practitioner. WOCN certification preferred. - PA:
Completion of an ARC‑PA approved Physician Assistant program, an active New York State Physician Assistant licensure in good standing and current national certification as a Physician Assistant by NCCPA. NPs and PAs will demonstrate clinical competence, superior verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal effectiveness, customer relation skills, computer competence and an active desire to learn. - Excellent communication, organizational skills, teamwork, flexibility, and critical thinking.
