Position: Travel CVOR Registered Nurse - $2,413 per week
Location: City of Rochester

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cardiac Operating Room (CVOR) to work in Rochester, NY.

Job Description

The Cardiac Operating Room (OR) specializes in the care of patients undergoing a wide range of cardiac procedures, including coronary artery bypass grafts (CABGs), transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI), and advanced heart failure interventions such as ventricular assist devices (VADs), extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), artificial hearts, and cardiac transplantation.

Responsibilities
  • Act independently as an RN circulator for complex adult cardiac procedures, such as CABGs, structural heart surgeries (e.g., Bentall), minimally invasive techniques (e.g., Mini Aortic Valve Replacement), and advanced heart failure interventions (e.g., Impella).
  • Assist with heart transplant procedures; prior experience in heart transplantation is preferred.
Qualifications and Certifications
  • Active RN license in New York (NY License only).
  • Minimum of two (2) years of operating room experience, preferably in a Level 1 trauma center.
  • Certification in BLS (American Heart Association only).
  • Certification in ACLS (American Heart Association only).
  • Ability to scrub and circulate in an operating room setting.
Compensation

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
