Full-time annual salary range: $98,508.00 - $.

• Provide direct care and management of neonates across well newborn units, special care units, and the Level IV Regional Perinatal Center’s 68-bed NICU.
• Participate in delivery room stabilization and ongoing management of neonates.
• Rotate through newborn care areas and NICU, flexing between settings based on clinical needs.
• Assist in the development and implementation of care policies and clinical protocols for NICU and newborn patients.
• Contribute to staff education, quality improvement initiatives, and patient safety programs related to neonatal care.
• Supervise and mentor nurse practitioner or physician assistant students during their clinical training.

• Current PA/NP licensure in NYS.
• NICU nursing experience or prior APP experience in NICU; otherwise, NICU rotation as a student APP required.
• For Nurse Practitioners:
  Master’s degree as a Nurse Practitioner, an active New York State Registered Nurse license, an active New York State Nurse Practitioner license, and current national certification.
• For Physician Assistants: completion of an ARC-PA approved program, active New York State Physician Assistant license, and current national certification by NCCPA.
• Demonstrated clinical competence, superior verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal effectiveness, customer service skills, and computer competence.
