Job Description
Location: 601 Elmwood Ave, Rochester, New York, 14642, United States of America
Employment Type: Regular Time/Time as Reported, Per Diem;
Schedule: Monday to Friday (per diem, rotating shift);
Compensation: $47.36 - $63.94 per hour.
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of adult patients with general psychiatric and psychotic disorders in an interdisciplinary adult ambulatory clinic.
- Collaborate actively with primary care providers when indicated.
- Deliver culturally competent care to Spanish‑speaking patients, ensuring effective communication in Spanish and English.
- Participate in the education of learners (students and new employees) through clinical learning experiences, knowledge sharing, and skill training.
- Work as a per diem Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, available Monday‑Friday and for additional per diem shifts as needed.
- Must be licensed as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in New York State and possess ANCC Certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
- At least one year of experience in a psychiatric ambulatory clinic setting.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English, with ability to provide culturally competent care.
- Holder of a Master’s degree as a Nurse Practitioner, an active New York State Registered Nurse license in good standing, an active New York State Nurse Practitioner licensure in good standing, and current national certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Demonstrated clinical competence, superior verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal effectiveness, customer relation skills, and computer competence.
- Active desire to learn and grow professionally.
