About This Role
The PACU-Post Anesthesia Care Unit Registered Nurse is responsible for providing competent direct patient care in a fast-paced environment, focusing on post-operative recovery for surgical patients. This role is ideal for motivated nurses looking to expand their skills in a multidisciplinary team setting.
Highlights- Pay: $38.76 - $50.39 / hour
- Location: Rochester, NY
- Schedule: Full-time, Night shift
- Provide direct patient care based on established standards.
- Contribute to unit activities and enhance the care delivery system.
- Support peers in delivering patient care services.
- Assume expanded roles such as charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member.
- Care for post-operative patients from various surgical specialties.
Experience: 2+ years in medical/surgical, ICU, or ED preferred
Licenses &
Certifications:
- Current RN License in New York
- ACLS certification preferred and required within 1 year
