Job Description
Provides professional nursing services for patients and their families and/or for the nursing department. Collaborates with other healthcare providers and team members to achieve expected patient outcomes and improve the care environment. Nurses use the nursing process and evidence-based practice to coordinate and provide direct care and services that support optimal patient and family outcomes.
Level II Registered Nurse (RN)The Level II RN, under the direction of the Nurse Manager, is accountable for the provision of competent patient care based on established standards and the nursing process. The Level II RN may assume expanded unit roles as available and assigned by the Nurse Manager, including charge nurse or preceptor. The Level II RN supports peers in delivering patient care, uses appropriate team communication methods, and practices care that reflects the patient condition and priorities.
The Level II RN provides support to team problem‑solving, identifies opportunities for self‑growth, and contributes to the development of other learners. The Level II RN contributes to a safe unit environment and operations.
- $40.03 - $51.00 per hour.
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this position. Individual annual salaries or hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, considering factors such as market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise, and internal equity considerations.
Job Requirements- Minimum 6 months RN experience in an acute care setting.
- BS in Nursing preferred.
- Licensed by New York State to practice as a Registered Nurse.
- Current CPR certification (American Heart Association BLS for healthcare providers preferred).
