OB​/GYN Outpatient Office - University Obstetrics and Gynecology at Lattimore - Registered Nurse

About This Role

The Registered Nurse-Level 2 in the OB/GYN Outpatient Office at University Obstetrics and Gynecology is responsible for providing competent direct patient care and supporting unit activities. This role is ideal for a team player with experience in women's health and ambulatory care.

• Pay: $38.76 - $52.33/hour
• Location: Rochester, NY
• Facility: Strong Memorial Hospital
• Schedule: Full-time, Day shift (Monday - Friday)

• Perform telephone triage of patient phone calls and consult with care providers.
• Administer medications and injections as ordered.
• Obtain vital signs and record medical, surgical, and family histories.
• Document patient symptoms or concerns.
• Conduct point of care testing such as pregnancy testing and urinalysis.
• Assist with office procedures including colposcopy, biopsy, and sonography.
• Review charts and ensure office compliance with Joint Commission regulations.
• Schedule patient appointments and perform general office duties.
• Support peers in the delivery of patient care services.
• Assume expanded roles such as charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.

Education:

• RN degree required

Experience:

• Women's health and ambulatory experience preferred

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current RN License in New York
