Registered Nurse – Family Clinic, Baldwin.

Location:

Rochester, NY.

• Provide direct patient care and patient/family education.
• Coordinate care and transitions across practice settings.
• Support nurse practice and maintain continuity of care.
• Act as a preceptor and mentor new staff.
• Lead quality improvement activities and participate in committees.
• Delegate patient care based on skill level, acuity, and resources.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

• Graduate of a baccalaureate nursing program accredited by ACEN, CCNE, or NLN CNEA; if not accredited, at least one year of RN experience in an applicable care setting or one year of LPN experience at Mayo Clinic.
• For entry‑level associate‑degree RN, completion of a baccalaureate nursing program within five years of RN start date (April
  12020or later) or as required for pre‑2020 hires.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Computer proficiency; prior experience with electronic medical records preferred.
• Flexible to work varying shifts, including days, evenings, nights, holidays, weekends, and on‑call.
• Demonstrated leadership and critical thinking skills.

• Current RN license in the applicable state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers, from either the American Heart Association or American Red Cross; BLS may not be required for non‑campus positions as determined by the work area.
• Additional state licensure or specialty certification/training as required by the area of practice.

Hourly rate starts at $34.84. Compensation is based on experience, education, and performance within the Mayo Clinic nursing model.

Part‑time, 40hours per week. Monday–Friday, 8‑hour shifts with coverage into evening hours as needed. Float to other primary care sites, including virtual support. Saturday work 7a.m.–12p.m., 8–10 days per year.
