Job SummaryThe University of Rochester Medical Center is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RN) for its Endoscopy/GI Department. The RN will provide specialized nursing care for patients undergoing gastrointestinal and endoscopic procedures, including pre‑procedure assessment, intra‑procedure monitoring, recovery, patient education, and collaboration with physicians and the procedural team to ensure safe, high‑quality care.
Requirements- Minimum 2 years of recent Endoscopy/GI nursing experience
- Telemetry experience required
- Experience with procedural sedation and post‑anesthesia recovery preferred
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient education skills
- Ability to participate in overnight and weekend on‑call rotation
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- ACLS preferred
- Endoscopy/GI nursing experience required
- Telemetry experience required
- University of Rochester Medical Center
