RN, Surgical Assistant, ICU Nurse

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team in the Operating Room (OR). Our OR cares for a wide variety of patients, encompassing specialties such as orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma. As a Level 1 trauma center, our environment is fast‑paced and requires a high level of expertise and adaptability.

Additionally, we utilize two Davinci robots for multi‑service procedures and have a robust transplant program involving liver, kidney, and heart transplants.

• Provide care for patients across a wide range of specialties.
• Scrub and circulate during procedures.
• Participate in the transplant program.
• Work with advanced technology, including Davinci robots.

• RN License (NY state license ONLY)
• Two (2) years operating room experience in a level 1 trauma preferred
• Able to scrub and circulate
• Telemetry is HIGHLY DESIRED

• BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
• ACLS (PREFERRED)

• Specialty Cases (transplants, plastics, reconstructive)
• Craniotomy
• Strong Ortho background

D/E/N Rotating Shift Schedule on call/callback, floating, holidays, and weekends per unit needs.

• BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY) - Required
• Two (2) Years Experience in operating room
