About This Role

The Telephone Triage RN 2 at the Ambulatory Wilmot Hematology Oncology Clinic is responsible for providing competent direct patient care and supporting the care delivery system. This role is ideal for a highly motivated professional with strong assessment and communication skills.

• Pay: $38.76 - $52.33/hour
• Location: Rochester, NY
• Facility: Strong Memorial Hospital
• Schedule: Full-time, Day shift

• Provide competent direct patient care based on established standards.
• Contribute to unit activities and support enhancement of the care delivery system.
• Support peers in the delivery of patient care services.
• Assume expanded roles including charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.
• Conduct clinical assessments and symptom management.
• Provide patient education and address critical lab values.
• Coordinate care and collaborate with oncology/hematology provider teams.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Make autonomous decisions and exhibit excellent assessment skills.

• 1 year of acute care experience required
• Prior oncology experience preferred

• Current RN License in New York
