Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Rochester, NY

Contract | Rotating Days and Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:00 / 19:00–7:00) | Every Other Weekend Required | Onsite

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit
• Monitor and assess patients requiring telemetry observation and medical-surgical interventions
• Document all patient care activities accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• Float to other units within the facility as required
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient outcomes
• Complete required pre-start facility modules prior to assignment start date

• Active New York State Registered Nurse license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical / Telemetry nursing experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Current NIHSS certification – must be included at time of submission
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records – hard requirement
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility

• Experience floating across multiple units or departments
• Travel nursing experience, though first-time travelers are accepted

• First-time travelers are welcome, making this a great opportunity to begin a travel nursing career
• Pre-start orientation modules are billable, offering additional compensated preparation time
