Job Description:
The Adult Cardiac OR cares for a wide variety of patients, including CABGs, TAVIs, and Heart Failure (VADs, ECMO, Artificial Heart and Heart Transplants). Using a multidisciplinary approach, the OR staff cares for patients of all ages.
Responsibilities:
- Independently scrub and circulate complex adult cardiac cases, including CABGs, structural heart cases (Bentall), minimally invasive procedures (Mini Aortic Valve Replacement), and heart failure cases (Impella).
- Transplant, TAVI/TAVR experience preferred.
Requirements:
- RN License (NY License ONLY)
- Two (2) years Experience
- Operating room experience in a level 1 trauma - preferred
- Able to circulate & scrub
- Telemetry
- BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
- ACLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
