Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry

NIGHTS - 12HR: 7P-7A. 36 and 48 hours available per week, with options for weekend shifts.

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Med/Surg Telemetry Unit. This unit encompasses 37 beds, providing care for patients with complex medical conditions. The RN will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry Unit.
• Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs and comfort.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Flexibly adapt to unit needs, including potential charge duties and floating to other units.
• Maintain accurate patient records using the EPIC charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active NY RN license.
• AHA BLS certification.
• 1 year of recent experience in acute med/surg/tele nursing required; 2 years preferred.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.

Assignment Duration:

This is a 16-week contract position.
