- RN License (NY License ONLY)
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
- ACLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
- Two (2) Years Experience in a relevant field
- Operating room experience in a level 1 trauma - Highly desired
- Ability to scrub and circulate
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care in the Cardiac Operating Room, managing preoperative and postoperative patient needs.
- Scrub and circulate during complex adult cardiac procedures.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to immediate needs during surgical procedures.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe environment in the operating room.
- Educate patients and families regarding procedures and postoperative care.
