Orthopedic Surgical Nurse (RN) - Rotating Shifts
This is a 13-week contract position for an experienced Orthopedic Surgical Nurse (RN) specializing in orthopedic trauma, spinal surgery, and other elective orthopedic surgical diagnoses. Join a department recognized for research and innovation, where you will be part of a dynamic and enthusiastic team. Nurses are expected to demonstrate excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills while working collaboratively as a team player.
36 or 48 hours per week, rotating shifts including day, evening, and night, with weekends, holidays, and on-call work as per unit needs.
Provide high-quality nursing care to orthopedic surgical patients.
Assist in the management of care for trauma and elective orthopedic cases.
Monitor patient status and telemetry as required.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.
Must have at least 2 years of experience in orthopedic nursing.
Current RN license in New York State.
Telemetry experience is required.
BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
