Job Description:

The OR nurse will care for a wide variety of patients with specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma. The role involves working in a level 1 trauma center, using 2 Davinci robots, and participating in a transplant program involving livers, kidneys, and hearts.

Responsibilities:

• Providing perioperative patient care for a wide range of specialties
• Scrubbing and circulating duties
• Operating Davinci robots for multi-services
• Playing a role in transplant programs

Requirements:

• RN License (NY state license ONLY)
• Two years operating room experience in a level 1 trauma center preferred
• Able to scrub and circulate
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
• ACLS (preferred)
• Telemetry experience is highly desired
