Role
Responsible for participating in the educational process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of orientation and ongoing professional development for hospital staff, as well as patient and community health education.
Qualifications- Master's degree in nursing (preferably in nursing education) and BSN required.
- Licensed and registered as a professional nurse in New York State.
- Professional nursing certification preferred.
- Five years of active, acute nursing experience with at least one year in educational planning or teaching.
- CPR BLS certification required; instructor status preferred. ACLS/PALS instructor certification preferred.
- Computer proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, internet, multimedia, document design, and learning management systems.
