Nurse Educator (Per-Diem, Days

Role Overview: The Nurse Educator is responsible for developing, facilitating, and evaluating educational activities for nursing and clinical staff to promote lifelong learning and ensure safe, quality patient care.

• Key Responsibilities:
  
  Facilitates orientation for new nurses and technicians, develops and delivers classroom lessons, maintains BLS instructor status, supports emergency response education, assesses staff educational needs, and ensures competency through various methods.
• Educational Development:
  Creates evidence-based educational activities aligned with regulatory standards, manages documentation, and utilizes diverse teaching methods such as presentations, online tools, simulations, and self-learning packets.
• Qualifications & Skills:
  
  Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, at least 2 years of clinical experience, proficiency in computer skills, and relevant licenses including RN and BLS certification. A Master’s Degree is preferred.
• Physical & Certification Requirements:
  Performs medium physical work, including walking and standing, with necessary licensure and certifications.
