Ambulatory Neurology (Neuromuscular Division) RN

About This Role

The Ambulatory Neurology RN in the Neuromuscular Division is responsible for providing competent direct patient care in an outpatient setting. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in collaborative environments and are committed to enhancing patient care delivery.

• Pay: $38.76 - $52.33/hour
• Location: Rochester, NY
• Facility: Strong Memorial Hospital
• Department/Unit: Neurology-Ambulatory Nursing
• Schedule: Full-time, Day shift

• Provide direct patient care based on established standards.
• Manage telephone and patient portal communications.
• Perform patient blood draws and assist with in-clinic procedures.
• Gather and relay patient information to the care team.
• Document accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with RNs and providers to support efficient clinic workflows.
• Support peers in the delivery of patient care services.
• Assume expanded roles such as charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.

Education:

• RN degree required

Experience:

• 6 months RN experience required

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current RN License in New York
