Pediatric Emergency Department (hiring now for March 2027 start) - Registered Nurse, Level 1 or 2

About This Role

The Pediatric Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care to pediatric patients and their families in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for new graduate nurses looking to build competency under the direction of experienced staff.

• Provide direct care to pediatric patients and families.
• Support peers in the delivery of patient care services.
• Contribute to unit activities and enhance the care delivery system.
• Build competency in the provision of direct patient care under supervision.
• Function in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
• Demonstrate good interpersonal skills and strong prioritization.
• Maintain flexibility and clinical competence.

• Education:
  
  New graduate nurse with less than one year of experience.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum of one year experience in pediatric acute care or ED experience preferred.
• Licenses &
  
  Certifications:
  
  Current RN License in New York.
